SwanBio Therapeutics (SwanBio), a gene therapy company advancing AAV-based therapies for the treatment of devastating, genetically defined neurological conditions, today announced the Philadelphia Business Journal has named Karen Kozarsky, PhD, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at SwanBio, to the Women of Distinction class of 2021. Honorees will be recognized at an in-person event on November 18th and a special publication on November 19th.

The honorees were selected by the Philadelphia Business Journal’s editors from nominations made by the public. This year’s nominations totaled more than 160.
Scientists, lawyers, educators, doctors, philanthropists – this year’s honorees come from vastly different backgrounds and professions, but they all share common qualities: leadership and vision.
